If you teach math and are having your pupils explore the the idea of area, consider taking a look at Sweet Home 3D. It’s a free interior design application that’s handy for placing furniture in 3D models. This snappy program comes with 50 pieces of furniture, but users may also import additional objects into it or create their own pieces. Used in tandem with other, rich learning tools like Google SketchUp (not to mention the 3D Warehouse) and Geogebra, Sweet Home 3D has the potential to thoroughly engage learners and make instruction much more meaningful.
